In this new decade, Outboards aspirated and electric are dominating the market, when it comes to boat builders powering new boats. Mercury marine, Yamaha, Honda and Tohatsu asperated engines and the electric outboard market has taken off as well. The days of the 2-stroke, smokey noisy outboard are long but gone, giving way to the new 4-stroke supercharged outboards ranging in size from 2.5hp up to 450hp.
The new technology is here today and will only get better as time goes on.
