What is the eoutboards.com return policy?

Can I return anything?
You may return most merchandise within 10 days of the original invoice date. Certain products may not be returned for any reason, including electrical parts.

Eoutboards return policy is very simple. Eoutboardswill gladly accept returns, if notified within 10 days after the user's receipt of their product. All returned products must have a Return Material Authorization Number on the outside of the package.  Products being returned without the proper Return Material Authorization Number on the packaging will be refused and returned back to the user(s), at their cost. You may obtain a Return Material Authorization Number by Email, through your eoutboards.com account.

All standard returns will be subject up to a 20% restocking fee. All freight on returns must be prepaid. All returns will be processed and fully inspected after they arrive back in our facility, before a credit is issued. All returns must include all peripherals accompanied with each product. This includes hardware, manuals, cables, etc. Returns that do not include all peripherals will be returned back to the user(s) or charged back to the user(s) on a per item basis. Eoutboards.com does not accept returns on any shipped, electrical parts. All returns are required to be in their original packaging and must be in a new/resellable condition when returned. Eoutboards does not refund the  original or return freight charges, this includes ground, overnight, 2nd Day and 3 Day shipping. Special orders are non returnable. A special order is considered, any product that Eoutboards.com does not stock or is listed as a special order on the product page.

If your order is damaged upon receipt from the delivering carrier, Eoutboards.com must be notified within 3 business days of receipt of package. All orders shipped via UPS automatically have $100 insurance. For any amount over $100, you must purchase additional insurance at the time the order is placed with eooutboards.com.

Any item returned to Eoutboards that received free shipping will have a deduction equal to the amount of the original shipping cost deducted from any credit issued unless the product (part) is dmaged or defective from the manufacture.

How do I return my product?

If you need to return something to us, you must log into your eoutboards account and request a return on the item you purchased, for your Return Authorization number. Returns received without an RMA number can be delayed several days. If we are unable to determine whom the item belongs to, it will be returned to the sender.

How do I exchange a product?

Eoutboards.com will automatically issue a credit for all items returned. If you wish to exchange the product you received for a different product, we will gladly place a new order for the replacement product for you. You then have two options for exchanging: we can either charge the new order and ship out the replacement item immediately, then we would credit you for the returned item once it arrives in our warehouse. You can also request that we hold the replacement order for you until the returned product arrives. If you choose this option, your card will be credited for the returned product and charged for the replacement product on the same day. If we have shipped you the correct item and you are returning it for exchange, you will be responsible for shipping charges. Please contact us using our contact form before returning any items, so we can issue you a return authorization number.

If we have shipped you the incorrect item, we will send you a return shipping label which you can then drop off at the local carrier from whom the shipper label belongs to.

I received the wrong product?

To report an incorrectly shipped order, please contact us emedialty via our contact us form . Claims will only be handled if reported within 5 business days of receipt of your package.

The exchange process for incorrect items shipped is as follows: when you return the incorrect item to us, we will credit your card back the full purchase price that was paid for the originally ordered item. We will also set up a new order for the correct item to be shipped out-since your card is credited back when the incorrect item is returned, we will have to charge your card for the reordered item. We can charge your card for the new order and ship out the correct item immediately; we will then credit you for the returned item once it arrives in our warehouse. You can also request that we hold the replacement order for you until the returned product arrives. If you choose this option, your card will be credited for the returned product and charged for the replacement product on the same day.

If we have shipped you the incorrect item, we will cover the shipping costs on the reorder for the same shipping method that was originally ordered. For example, if you ordered 3-Day Select shipping on the original order, we will cover the costs of 3-Day Select shipping on your reorder.

We will gladly upgrade your shipping on the reorder to ensure that it makes it to you on a specific date if you are willing to pay the difference in shipping costs between the new shipping method and the original shipping method. If you have opened and used the incorrect item that was shipped to you, we may not be able to accept your return. If we do accept the return, a restocking fee to be determined upon our receipt of the product will apply.

I received someone else's order.

In the event that you receive someone else's order, please contact us for an Return Authorization (RA) number to return the items.
